Profeco warns about “fraud” in the purchase of tickets for Luis Miguel
As part of its functions, the Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) alerted people not to buy Luis Miguel concert tickets on unauthorized pages or at low prices.
According to Profeco, it will be alert, since pre-sales and ticket sales for shows can lead to abuse by people who intend to defraud by selling “suspiciously” cheap tickets, especially via social networks.

Likewise, proof of your purchase must be kept, such as the order or transaction number and “read reviews and comments made by other consumers, to know their experience, impressions and satisfaction regarding the service.”
The agency assures that it is important “not to trust suspiciously low prices.” “You have to doubt pages that have many offers and promotions at the same time, which is regularly observed on social networks,” they explain,
“The sales pages must offer minimum guarantees for return and cancellation, as well as contact means to make them effective, so you must read the privacy and return policies,” reads his publication.
In this sense, Profeco ensures that if you are going to purchase tickets on resale portals such as Viagogo and StubHub, you must carefully read the “applicable terms and conditions and take all possible precautions, since the transactions that are carried out on these types of sites are between individuals”.
