He began his musical career in the 1970s and quickly became one of the most popular artists in the world. Prince spanned from rock to pop, passing through funk, soul and R&B.
Topics like Purple Rain, I Wanna Be Your Lover and When Doves Cry, among many others, they keep him in the hearts of millions of fans, seven years after his death. One of them, LeBron James, who paid tribute to him with his Nike shoes.

The sneakers were recently unveiled. Nike LeBron 21 Purple Rain, that play with the color purple as the main element. It’s two different shades of purple: Violet Dust on the leather upper and Purple Cosmos on the Zoom Air cushioned heel.
It also highlights the yellow color in the edge of the Swoosh and in the signature of LeBron James on the tongue
Obviously there is a nod to the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James’ team in the NBA, but with the name Purple Rain consolidates the homage to the great Prince.
The official launch is expected for October 14, with a price of 200 dollars. Nike LeBron 21 Purple Rain shoes will be on sale on the official Swoosh page and at select retailers.
