The electrified engines of the new Renault Austral
All the engines of the new Austral are electrified. In addition, the successor to the Kadjar renounces diesel engines. It will only have gasoline mechanics. The access step is occupied by a TCe 140 hp engine with light hybrid technology (MHEV) of 12 volts and that can be associated with a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission.

Prices valid from September / 2022 without including discounts or other promotions
One step above is the TCe 160 hp engine which also has MHEV technology and, in this case, is combined exclusively with an automatic gearbox. The best performing option goes through the self-recharging hybrid version (HEV) that reaches 200 hp. New versions will be added later to enrich the offer.
It is important to underline that each of these engines, being electrified, have the ECO environmental label from the DGT (General Directorate of Traffic) with all the mobility advantages that this entails.
