The Polkadot community will organize educational workshops and meetups on the Rust programming language, Ink! in Mexico City on June 7 and 8, 2023 at the facilities of the Universidad Iberoamericana. This was reported by its organizers to Cointelegraph en Español through a statement.
Together with the Universidad Iberoamericana, members of the Polkadot community in Mexico and Latin America will be organizing, in the capital of Mexico, a series of face-to-face workshops on the Rust programming language, Ink! (Specific programming language for writing Smart Contracts in Polkadot and the Substrate framework).
The workshops will take place on June 7 and 8, 2023, at the facilities of the Universidad Iberoamericana, located in Mexico City, and will be focused on students of computer systems and engineering, as well as Web2, Web3 and blockchain developers. .
Lorena Fabris, Polkadot Head Ambassador for Latin America, explained: “The objective of these workshops is to provide developers with the conceptual foundations and practical application of blockchain technology through Polkadot.”.
In addition to the workshops, On June 9, an open meeting will be held, both for developers and for members of the community who want to know details of the Polkadot ecosystem. In this day, talks and dissertations of referents of the ecosystem of Polkadot and Kusama, topics such as DeFi, Smart Contracts, NFT, community and projects with impact in Latin America will also be covered.
To participate both in the workshops for developers and in the open day for the community, the registrations will be done in a closed way between the different universities, student communities, members of the local community. Teams with projects seeking funding and members of the Web3 ecosystem community will also be able to do so. Despite requiring registration, the workshops will be totally free.
