The autonomy of the new Polestar 3
Regarding the 100% electric propulsion system, the “heart” of the Polestar 3 will be a 111 kWh lithium-ion battery whose main objective will be none other than to feed two electric motors, one per axis. That is why it boasts all-wheel drive. The Long Range Dual Motor Plus Pilot version develops a power of 360 kW (489 hp) and 840 Nm of maximum torque. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 210 km/h. And what is more important, set a autonomy of 610 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle.
The most efficient version, the Long Range Dual Motor Plus Pilot Perform model, maintains the same scheme but its power reaches 380 kW (517 hp) and 910 Nm. Thanks to this, it can complete the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 210 km/h (electronically limited). The increase in power has as a direct consequence a small reduction in autonomy. It stands at 560 km respectively.
