These Wallabee boots are a great Clark and Pokemon design.
Like most large international companies, Pokémon is a million-dollar franchise that has gained its popularity through television series and video games and has been built over decades with constant innovations and creative content dedicated especially for its fans.
In this sense, an important source of income for each of them are the thousands of commemorative objects that can be purchased on the market, for all possible tastes. Among them we find backpacks, clothes, toys and many other items typical of the franchise.
However, one of the most common practices between franchises, no matter how small and independent they may be, are collaborations to create some of the products with the most unique designs of their kind, especially since they pay homage to different characters from the best-known series. . And Pokémon is no exception to these practices, especially since world-renowned fashion brands have a special interest in showing a different face of their clothing and footwear.
Pokemon Collaborations
In the past, Pokémon has collaborated with various brands, from sportswear to casual wear. So clothing with elements of Pokémon has been distinguished by its style within global marketing, hand in hand with stuffed animals, toys and other objects that have been inspired by the anime adaptation, video games and trading card games. And in view of the success they have achieved with the products, on this occasion Pokémon decided to make its last collaboration with one of the most prestigious footwear companies with years of experience in the world to launch one of the most important collections with various styles of footwear for children and adults of the moment.
The company in question is the shoe brand Clarks, which has recently made an announcement about its upcoming sale of a line of footwear for children and adults. Earlier this week the company announced the collaboration with Pokemon and namely the shoes are now available on Clarks website. However, there is something of a catch, as the availability of the Pokémon-themed children’s shoes appears to be limited to the UK website and even the rest of Europe; and, conversely, with adult shoes they are found on the US site, though probably around the world as well.
The company has not mentioned anything about it, so we will have to wait to see their statements later and if they can be purchased anywhere or there will be restrictions as it seems that there are so far.
The Clarks Kids Pokémon Collection is available in 18 different styles. Although the school shoe category only has Pikachu and Pokémon designs in black, this is possibly because it has to comply with the uniform policies of most schools in the UK. Fortunately for younger fans, other designs are more colorful and feature Pikachu, Squirtle and Mewtwo for everyday sneakers they would wear to their after-school activities. Additionally, there is a listing that features a design of the Black Suede Wallabe Boot for Kids, but sadly it is not yet available and there is no set date for its sale.

Secondly, adult footwear adopts Clarks Wallabee boot style, a fashion symbol that has already appeared in other companies with its own signature. As for the Clarks x Pokemon Wallabees, we have an innovative Pikachu design for its most representative boot, with the range of colors that identifies the main Pokémon, as well as a black shoe with small Pikachus all over the fabric that makes up the boot. And, as the shoe brand put it, another variant of the Wallabee boot is planned for the near future: the Wallabee Mist which has a lower cut at the ankle, among other differences.
As you can see, the shoes seem to go well on their own and even be part of a set of Pokémon commemorative garments, since to date there are many official designs that could combine it quite a bit. Of course, this new line rescues some of the most distinctive elements of Pokémon, but, above all, it is a great strategy to release a line prior to the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
