Last week, it was revealed that eight employees and former employees of PlayStation they had joined the lawsuit against the company for cases of sexism and gender discrimination. Since the first reports of this lawsuit, Sony hadn’t said anything about it, but they recently acknowledged the problem and issued a response about it.
Via Twitterthe journalist from Axios, Stephen Totilopublished a document where Sony recognizes that there is a problem of sexism within the offices of PlayStation on state joined. Within this statement, the Japanese firm affirms that these allegations by the employees will be taken as seriously as possible and will even take action on the matter for the cases of former employees as well, promising that women have a high value within the company. company and will always be looking for ways to make them grow and prosper.

Nevertheless, Sony is looking for a way to resolve this whole matter outside the legal courts, since according to them, these accusations were made out of time and no longer have legal validity. But this does not mean that they will sit idly by, and we will have to wait to find out how all this will come to an end.
editor’s note: At least Sony has already acknowledged the problem, but just like Activision Blizzard, this was something that shouldn’t even have happened. It is unfortunate that these types of cases continue and continue to arise as time goes by, and it seems that we still have a long way to go before they disappear completely.
