PlayStation is finally betting very seriously on the PC as a secondary platform for its first party games, we have already seen the launch of games like Horizon Zero Dawn Days Gone, God of War or Marvel’ws Spider-Man Remastered and those that remain. It seems that the Japanese company will not follow the example of Microsoft and instead of joint launches, PC users will have to wait “at least a year” since its release on consoles.
In case of games as a service of the company, those games whose playable core is online multiplayer, could come to PC sooner of that standard year. At least that is what the head of PlayStation Studios, Hermen Hulst, said in an interview with VGC.

Upcoming PlayStation Games Coming to PC
“I think in the future we will see at least one year between releases on PlayStation and PC platformpossibly with the exception of live service games,” Hulst said.
“Live service games are a little bit different in nature because you want to have a strong community, a solid commitment right awayright when they launch, so in the case of our live service offerings, we can go day to day with PC and PlayStation”.
Apart from all the company’s games already available on PC, there are other titles confirmed for later, such as Sackboy: A Big Adventure or Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Another of the Playstation games that has leaked its PC version on more than one occasion is Returnal, but there is still no confirmation that the Housemarque game will be compatible.
We will see in practice how long we have to wait to see the latest PlayStation releases on PC, such as The Last of Us Part I, which confirmed its launch on PC for later but does not yet have a specific date or God of War: Ragnarok, which hits stores in just a few weeks. According to this statement from PlayStation, we will not see them on PC until these dates next year 2023.
