PlayStation has just announced the celebration of a new State of Play for next Wednesday October 27 at 11:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time. This is a new digital event where the company will highlight future third-party releases for its PS4 consoles and PS5, so do not expect news from exclusive games such as Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7 or God of War: Ragnarok. We will have to keep waiting.
The transmission will last around 20 minutes and will focus on “new images of games already announced, in addition to some news from our partners around the world,” says the company through the PlayStation blog, although it does not specify any particular game. As always, it can be followed through the official PlayStation channels at Twitch and Youtube.
In the last State of Play, which took place in July, you could see news of Sifu, Lost Judgment, or Deathloop and the announcement of games like Moss: Book II. It is expected that for this new State of Play, in the same way, new content of games that are a few weeks away from their launch for PS4 and PS5 will be shown, in addition to the occasional announcement. We’ll see what PlayStation and its partners have in store.
Major PlayStation first party announcements took place at the PlayStation Showcase from the beginning of September, where Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine were announced by Insomniac Games or the first gameplay trailer of God of War: Ragnarok, among many other things.
This same week, the PlayStation house has announced two other great news for the brand, such as the launch of God of War on PC and the first trailer for the Uncharted movie, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.
