We are now very close to the launch of PlayStation 5 and, little by little, we have had the chance to learn more about its features and everything that encompasses the next-generation console.
Sony has already revealed its specifications, we have an idea of the official price and, above all, some of the titles that will be released with the arrival of PlayStation 5 have already been confirmed.
But, in addition to all that, there has been a lot of talk about DualSense, the new control that gamers will be able to use and that stands out, mainly, for its haptic technology, whose objective is to provide a much more immersive experience.
DualSense and your battery capacity
According to reports from various media, Sony started production of PlayStation 5 since last June. The images of the console are scarce, but with its control, the opposite has happened.
Some lucky ones already have control of the new console in their hands. Such is the case of the user @ Galaxyrain666, who recently shared several photos of the remote.
And, although the design is already known from all its angles, the photographs have allowed us to know an important and necessary fact: the capacity of its battery.
It is very annoying to have to charge the wireless controls, but it seems that the DualSense will have a great autonomy capacity that will allow many hours of play.
The PlayStation 5 controller will go up to 1,560 mAh, a significant increase compared to the Dualshock 4, which started at 800 mAh and later acquired a 1,000 mAh version.

And yes, it is almost double the capacity, but remember that the DualSense has haptic technology and adaptive triggers, which could be concluded as a similar performance.
Still, we are confident these controls will charge much faster, thanks to the USB-C port, the new industry standard for technology.
What other features will the PlayStation 5 DualSense have?
The new control will consist of many other interesting specifications:
- Rechargeable battery and USB-C power port.
- Replacement of the «Share» button with a new one called «Create».
- The touch panel returns and the lighting decreases and moves to the sides.
- Adaptive L2 and R2 triggers.
- Motion sensor and haptic technology.
- A new built-in internal microphone and speaker.
- 3.5 headphone jack port.
