If you’re a longtime Apple user, you’ve probably gone through that frustration of seeing your Lightning cable break after a few years of use. Unfortunately, this has always been a recurring problem at Apple. With the new iPhones that will be presented in September, Apple has chosen to include a more resistant cable. Here’s what it might look like.
Two leaked images
Posted on the Weibo social network in China and picked up by the famous @ L0vetodream on Twitter, here’s what the two cables that would be provided for both the iPhone 12 and the iMac Pro might look like.
There is a white cable on the left of the image, overall it is shorter and thinner. To the right, we find a black cable that is long and thick! Both have two different ends, a USB-C end and a Lightning end.
For now, we are at the rumor stage, but this is not the first time that we have heard of nylon iPhone cables!
Apple would make this new choice to optimize the life of the charging cables which are often the subject of dissatisfaction among iPhone users. A braided cable is much more resistant, in addition, it is less prone to knots.
