A photographer has photographed the new winery of Amazon, which was installed in Tijuana and in the image has captured the contrast between the modern and immaculate winery with the rest of the houses next to the construction.
The image was made by Omar Martinez and it is an important testimony of how large companies are establishing themselves worldwide with various centers of operations, which are testimony to the economy that is being formed and where we see, on the one hand, a huge center run by Amazon and on the other. another, the characteristic urban landscape of areas, whose economic incomes correspond to the lowest deciles, with which organizations such as INEGI measure household income and expenditures.
Amazon: A picture is worth a thousand words
The second Amazon warehouse that is inaugurated in the border area of Mexico with the United States has left the crudest testimony of how the Mexican economy is adapting more and more to trends in digital consumption of great weight.

Martínez’s graphic testimony has left the words of the municipal president without an echo, Karla Patricia Ruiz Macfarland, who assured that “as part of the actions promoted to attract investment to our city, the Municipal Government, through the Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeti), supported the management of procedures to finalize the opening of this important company, that will contribute to economic reactivation and the well-being of families ”.
The testimony captured by Martínez is also generating all kinds of analysis in social networks, but the common one in this is the one that warns us of the clear contrast that represents seeing one of the most valuable brands in the world in a marginal area.
Amazon against the reality of the world
Amazon has established operations with all kinds of controversies that contrast with the reality behind its mythical website. From labor problems due to the environment that prevails in its popular distribution centers to statements that have put Jeff Bezos in check, after he released unpleasant statements such as the occasion when, after arriving in the space, he assured that the experience was thanks to the Amazon customers and employees.
Amazon is undoubtedly the leader in retail due to the electronic commerce formula that it patented and that at the end of the day became a benchmark of great weight that has no waste, on the contrary, it has given great lessons in sales and commercial operation at the expense of the image and reputation that it has built of being a brand far from reality that impacts the consumer, as an image taken by a Mexican photographer has contrasted.
