It seems that we see here one of the consequences of prolonging what was originally going to be an event/limited series, which is the loss of the hooks. After learning of William Petersen’s departure a few weeks ago, it is now Jorja Fox the one who announces that she will not be in season 2 from ‘CSI: Vegas’.
This has been announced by the actress through Twitterwhere he assures that after deliberation sees sense to continue with the character of Sara Sidle after learning that Grissom would not be in these new episodes, which we will see in the next television course:
“CSI has always been a love story for me. (…) And the story that love, even in the darkest of places and times, can expand and grow roots and become stronger. I personally cannot separate Sara and Grissom again. So if Grissom goes, Sara goes. Wherever they go, they are made for each other.”
A foreseen possibility
Of course, despite this announcement, it is also true that is something that was planned by Jason Tracey, showrunner of the series. The writer had already taken into account that they signed for ten episodes and the characters had already served the purpose of helping to rebuild the universe of the Las Vegas forensics.
The main cast of ‘CSI: Vegas’ has Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mandeep Dhillon and Mel Rodriguez.
