Sergio Perez was the fastest in the last free practice session of the Miami GP, after overtaking his teammate Max Verstappen which remains, with permission from charles leclercwho was 2nd and remains the rival to beat at Red Bull.
The session was interrupted when barely 20 minutes had been played. It was Stephen Ocon the one that raised a red flag for crashing in the same place as Carlos Sainz on Friday, practically identically. He also ended up against the wall in the opposite direction after a spin that, in this case, does put his participation in the classification at risk in case the mechanics were affected.

After the resumption took the reins Max Verstappen with medium, initially, but then with soft he regained control again against a charles leclerc that fell short. The second half of Sergio Perezjust 50 thousandths of his leader, made it clear that the Mexican could be in the fight for the best times, and that time came just after a mistake by the world champion.
Verstappen saved a spin when he was entering the tunnel area, which has been very difficult for everyone during all the sessions played. He narrowly saved the accident.

After the three pilots of honor, beware: Fernando Alonso. The Alpine is competitive, both on one lap and on medium tyres, so it cannot be ruled out in the Q3 fight. Although it will be necessary to be clear that the Mercedes may be on the list: neither Lewis Hamilton (15th) nor George Russell (17th) mounted the soft ones.
Carlos Sainzfrom more to less, settled for the 7th time.
