Pecco Bagnaia already knows what it’s like to win in MotoGP. After adding up to five second places throughout his career in the premier class, the Italian rider has finally tasted the honeys of victory. And he hasn’t done it anyway. In fact, Bagnaia has beaten Marc Márquez in a direct duel in four laps of heart attack in which the two drivers gave their all and exchanged more than a dozen overtaking. Joan Mir finished third in an atypical Aragon GP in which Fabio Quartararo could not get past eighth place with your Yamaha M1.
Pecco Bagnaia came out well to retain Marc Márquez from behind, a situation that was going to be almost a constant throughout the race. Jack Miller fell to third place, with Aleix Espargaró and Fabio Quartararo in his wake, although Jorge Martín was quick to overtake the MotoGP leader. Was forming quickly a group of six in the lead, but almost as fast as it was built in the first few turns it also broke. Bagnaia and Márquez broke the race by adding several laps at an infernal pace, while behind a Miller error allowed Mir to place third, all after also surpassing Aleix.
Since then, the race was centered on the direct duel for the triumph of Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez. The Catalan went on to attack with four laps to go, but each and every one of his overtakes ended with Pecco again ahead of # 93. The ability to brake of the Ducati rider made Marc was long in every hurry and Bagnaia had no major problem in giving him a reply when Márquez Largo left. The play was repeated during the last three laps with no less than twelve exchanges of position. Nevertheless, nothing could stop Pecco.
Bagnaia took the victory ahead of Márquez in a race in which Joan Mir was third, after completing the last third of his solo career, in no man’s land. The fourth place was for Aleix Espargaró, while Jack Miller had to settle for fifth place. After a career of talent and courage, Enea Bastianini took sixth position, thus signing his best result in MotoGP. As is almost customary, Brad Binder climbed in the race to seventh place, while Fabio Quartararo had to settle for eighth place after a very gray start to the race.
