Pecco Bagnaia tasted the honeys of victory for the first time in MotoGP a week ago, in the GP of Aragon. And the Italian seems to have taken a liking to being at the top of the podium. As in Alcañiz, the Ducati rider asserted his pole position to win the San Marino GP, this time dominating the race from start to finish. In this way and in just eight days, Bagnaia has achieved its first triumphs in the queen class. Fabio Quartararo has achieved a valuable second place, while Enea Bastianini has been third to sign his first podium in MotoGP.
After achieving the circuit record in Q2, Pecco Bagnaia signed an exit almost as brilliant. The Ducati rider was a few meters ahead of Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo, while Jorge Martín placed fourth. The Madrid rider was the agitator of the first laps in his quest to overtake the MotoGP leader. Still, hepressure from Martín ended with the Spanish on the ground. In parallel, Enea Bastianini began with his particular comeback to move up to sixth place. Immediately afterwards, the local pilot gave account of Aleix Espargaró and Marc Márquez to place fourth.

Behind both, without the need to take risks, Enea Bastianini took his first podium in MotoGP after a magnificent performance that has led him to climb from twelfth to third place. Behind, the three-way fight for fourth place was resolved in favor of Marc Márquez after beating Jack Miller and Joan Mir. A Honda was also victorious in the duel between Pol Espargaró and Aleix Espargaró for the final seventh place. For his part, Brad Binder was ninth.
