One of the most important and expected social benefits by millions of Colombians is Youth in Actioninspired by the DPS to be able to help students -who are in a state of vulnerability as a result of the crisis that the country is experiencing after the COVID-19 pandemic and for other different reasons- in their technical, technological and/or professional training by delivering of money transfers. The Government of President Gustavo Petro in this 2023 will continue with the transfer of the resources of the Youth in Action program and these transfers will be subject to certain conditions, in order to improve the skills and opportunities for social mobility of young people, as well as their conditions of wellness.
In addition, pedagogical activities will be offered to foster and improve the skills of young people in various areas in order to help them achieve their personal goals. If you want to know more information about the date and the payment process, keep reading.
How to access the help of Youth in Action?
It is worth clarifying that the requirements to access this benefit granted by the Government are:
- Be between 14 and 28 years old.
- Being a bachelor of secondary vocational education (11th).
- Not having a professional university degree.
- Be within at least one of the targeting phases of the program that certifies their situation of vulnerability or poverty: Family Welfare census lists, indigenous census lists or current registration in the Sisbén.

When does Youth in Action pay?
For this year, the delivery of the Youth in Action program will be done every two months as it normally happens. However, since the sixth payment cycle 2022 was made in mid-January, the first of this year is expected to be made in mid-March, but this will be reported in a timely manner through the official channels of Social Prosperity.
