The Batman will explore new stories in the Riddler: Year One comic, to be written by actor Paul Dano, which will be released in the United States in November.
The Batman has become a success in movie theaters, and the plot of the Matt Reeves film has already been extended to television series, so the comics could not be the exception, and The Riddler will be the protagonist of a new saga, Riddler: Year One, which will be borne by Paul Dano himself.

DC Comics announced that Paul Dano will be the writer of the limited series Riddler: Year One, which will feature the strokes of Stevan Subic, an illustrator who debuts at DC.
“This series explores the background of how accountant Edward Nashton went from being a mere Gotham City nobody to becoming Batman’s nemesis, setting them on a collision course in the blockbuster feature film”, reads the statement shared by DC Comics on its website.
This comic will be available in the United States in October, and will be a prequel to the Matt Reeves film. Riddler: Year One joins The Batman spin-off TV projects like the GCPD and Penguin series.

The Batman will star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, and John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone.
Jeffrey Wright will also star as Police Commissioner James Gordon, while Andy Serkis will play Alfred Pennyworth.
The Batman is already available in movie theaters throughout the Mexican Republic.
