the influencer OG Paris Hilton has continued her crusade into the metaverse, saying she sees it as the “future of parties, going out, interacting with people and socializing.”
Monday, Hilton appeared as a guest on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he discussed his experiences in the non-fungible token (NFT) community.
Hilton told Fallon that she would release her first collection of NFTs featuring Superplastic on Origin Protocol “soon,” but did not elaborate on a timeline. Superplastic is a vinyl toy and digital collectible company.
She revealed the collection to members of the public, titled “Forever Fairytale,” a collage of memories with her new husband Carter Reum. He then gave away the first NFT in the collection to Fallon and other NFTs to each member of the audience.

“I think it’s the first NFT giveaway in television history,” Fallon said.. On January 18, Superplastic launched its “Headtripz” NFT collection, featuring a collaboration piece with Hilton.
Although this will be his first collection, it is far from his first foray into the NFT space.. In April 2021, Hilton sold her “Iconic Crypto Queen” NFT for $1.1 million.
In a November 2021 interview with The Guardian, Hilton said that she had started investing in cryptocurrencies in 2016 when she “befriended the founders of Ethereum.” Since then, he has amassed an admirable 141-piece NFT collection., including a “Bored Ape” and works by Grimes and Steve Aoki.

The pop culture icon has recently become a somewhat unexpected defender of the metaverse. Hilton’s “World of Paris” debuted on the online gaming platform Roblox during New Year’s Eve 2021, where Hilton played a DJ set for a virtual crowd.
“I think it’s important that people are not only in the physical world, but also in the digital one”he told Bloomberg on Friday.
Paris World is complete with an amusement park, a petting zoo, a nightclub and a mansion in which users can buy clothes from his closet or hang out on his yacht.
To date, the metaverse island has only attracted a total of about 63,900 visitors, according to Roblox stats. In comparison, the “ALDC Studio” world of Roblox, inspired by the American reality show Dance Moms, has accumulated more than 30.5 million visitors.
Hilton has more than 55 million followers on her social media accounts. on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and YouTube.
Despite his disappointing statistics, Hilton said he remains hopeful for the island’s future. “I see that Paris World will become a destination for different events throughout the year: Valentine’s Day, the Super Bowl, New York Fashion Week,” she said.
The millionaire heiress rose to fame after the success of her reality show The Simple Life in 2003. He recently launched a new show called Paris in Love and a podcast called This is Paris.
