Now, Duolingo, the language teaching platform, knew how to position itself and reported its arrival in the metaverse with its owl, which is intended to help developers and remind its users to do their homework.

Duolingo pet surprises in the metaverse
Duolingo’s green owl is one of the mascots that has begun to win the hearts of people around the world, so it is easy to recognize in any environment that appears, even the virtual one.
Given that, the teaching mark reported that it will now appear in the universe of roblox and decentraland, thanks to the association with the advertising agency MediaMonks, which helps to promote its work on the blockchain.
This foray into web3, makes Duolingo the first language learning platform to appear in the metaversewhich according to data from a report by Bloomberg Intelligencein 2021 it grew in value to approximately 500 billion US dollars and could increase fivefold by 2030.

Roblox also released a game where developers could submit suggestions for other titles to appear in the Duolingo virtual space.
