Overwatch 2 will have its beta on April 26, although there are already images of what the user interface was like at first, will there be a battle pass? We tell you everything here.
As we well know, Overwatch 2 beta coming later this monthwhich generates a great expectation in the fans and to add fuel, a user interface artist published images of the conceptual menus of the game.
The person in charge of doing it was Jayson Kirbywho worked on the design of the menus for the video game until the end of 2020. In a post on his Artstation account, kirby reveals some images of the original idea of the interface Overwatch 2.
However, we not only see what kirby shows us in the images, but there are also some details that could interest the user. Something we can see is the inclusion of a battle pass in the main menuwhich we do not have in the Overwatch original. This would be a great addition to the game. Blizzardwhat currently only grants rewards once you level up. Furthermore, the fact of having a battlepass could mean there may be elements free to playalthough we will have to wait.
On the other hand, kirby posted an image where we can see the animation of a card for a guild of up to 520 people. Although there is nothing confirmed, we could think that it is a public site where users can interact with each other with a specific theme.
Anyway, this is all speculation, since Jayson Kirby stopped working on Overwatch 2 in 2020. However, we can take these posts as a reference of what they thought from Blizzard at that time to make the game look better. Whether or not this interface was kept, we no longer know, though we will be able to check it in the beta launch at the end of the month. If you want to try the beta and you don’t know how, in this note we will tell you, although you will have to do it before April 26, the departure date of this test.
