A few months ago we detailed you how the team of Outlook published a new extension for Microsoft Edge to check our mail, events and tasks without opening any new tab. Now this extension has been published for Google browser users.
The Microsoft Outlook extension is now available in Google Chrome
After a few months of exclusivity in the extensions store of Microsoft Edge, the extension debuts in the Chrome Web Store for Google Chrome users. Great news considering the user quota that the Google browser enjoys with respect to its competitors.
With this extension we can use Outlook without having to open it in a new tab, or in your desktop application. We can read and write post without having to leave the browser, we can consult our events and even create new or view our chores from Microsoft To-Do. It also has the functionality of consulting our contacts.
Although the one that appears in Google Chrome is a good news, the extension is missed in other browsers like Firefox, or Safari. If the extension is successful among users, we hope that Microsoft will be encouraged to publish it for other browsers so that everyone can enjoy it.
