Assassin’s Creed: Origins was the launch of the 2017 series and introduced us to a story that took us to Egypt, originally released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. However, this week the game will receive its new generation update on Xbox Series X | S and PS5 consoles, with which it will receive support from 60 FPS on June 2.
Yesterday the official Assassin’s Creed account published a gif of Bayek, the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed: Origins, saying that the wait is almost over. Although it was believed that it could refer to the arrival of the game on Xbox Game Pass, it has already been confirmed that it refers to the new generation update that arrives this Thursday, June 2.

The next-gen update for Assassin’s Creed: Origins adds support for running at 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 consoles, as was promised in December of last year during AC Day. Although almost five years have passed since its release, AC: Origins is still looking great and with the update to FPS boost it will run even better.
It was also recently confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be coming to the Xbox Game Pass service next week, on Tuesday, June 7, making it the first Assassin’s Creed game to hit the Microsoft service. It is not known if AC: Origins will be available only on consoles or also on PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
