Just over six months have passed since OPPO’s official arrival in Mexico, and now the Chinese company confirms its new alliance, one that will allow it to expand its reach and cease to be “exclusive” to Telcel. Now OPPO debuts the OPPO A72 and OPPO A12 on AT&T, both available shortly in the operator’s physical and online stores.
And by launch, both teams will have a 5-year warranty.
Two devices for now
The objective of OPPO is that the alliance helps it in the goal of becoming ” the # 1 brand of smartphones in Mexico in the next three years, ” the company says in a statement. ” We are proud to close this new alliance and present it in the country ” says the document. In this way, OPPO teams will reach more than 900 new physical points of sale, online distribution and call center.
The OPPO A72 and A12 are additions to the company’s catalog for Mexico announced in August. The A72 is a device with a 5,000 mAh battery, a quad rear camera with a 48 megapixel main sensor, a 6.5-inch FHD + screen, and 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Its price is 6,950 pesos.
Meanwhile the A12 is the younger brother with 6.22 inches on the screen, 4,320 mAh battery, dual rear camera with 13 and 2 megapixel sensors, as well as 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Its price is 3,700 pesos.
A month ago Xiaomi made the same move, when it ceased to be exclusive to Telcel, an alliance that had been formed for three years.
