In great news for the entire Call of Duty: Warzone gaming community, the monster of all battles is here. From May 11-25, Call of Duty: Warzone operators can go toe-to-toe with Kong. and Godzilla in the Operation Monarch Limited Time Mode.
One thing we find quite striking is that this mode shares a name with the Operation Monarch event, which offers rewards for participating in matches, collecting Monarch Intel, completing challenges, and even purchasing limited-time Monsterverse Bundles inspired by Godzilla vs. Kong.
Operation Monarch is a true celebration of the Monsterverse and Godzilla vs. Kong inside Call of Duty. Those who already get their hands on Ranked Weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard know how much is at stake. Monarch is counting on us to help them quell these monstrous forces – here’s the information you need to save Caldera:
Despite fighting battles across multiple continents, Call of Duty operators have never before faced two colossal threats like Kong and Godzilla. And despite popular belief, these two creatures are our allies against a greater threat. “Neither Kong nor Godzilla are villains,” said Sam Rappaport, Director of Interactive Media at Legendary, who hopes these two monsters can help shore up their terrifying K/D relationship.
“The Monsterverse has ‘Protector’ and ‘Destroyer’ Titans, each with a biological imperative to fight for dominance. While we see these former rivals go toe-to-toe in Godzilla vs. Kong, both are considered ‘Protector’ Titans. However, when provoked by other Titans or humans, there is no stopping their rage.” Should any of these Titans rage into a Frenzy, you will need to know the following:

The King of Monsters has risen from the darkest depths of the ocean to unleash his devastating breath and thunderous roar on unsuspecting shores. No one, not even the secretive Monarch monster defense agency, knows why Godzilla is so furious and attacks cities all over the world. His latest target is Caldera, who patrols around the island and uses her random heat ray breath.
This bolt of deadly energy appears as several red circles on your minimap after illuminating Godzilla’s scales with an icy blue glow. Like a precision airstrike, it’s best to avoid their line of fire; while it doesn’t target operators on purpose, those who accidentally end up in its destructive path will only have a few seconds before being attacked.
kong

The ruler of Skull Island is now all-powerful, his strength forged in the fires of combat, after decades of defending his territory from nature’s most dangerous creatures. Kong has developed an epic brawler fighting style, utilizing quick feet, aerial traversal and sheer savage force to confuse and disorient his opponents.
Although his main domain is Skull Island, Kong is here in Caldera. Are you here to defend this island from Godzilla? Or did Godzilla sense him get to Caldera first as the real aggressor? No matter the explanation for why he’s here alongside Godzilla, Kong will jump and jump around the island.
Its patterns could be considered predictable, but figuring out where it might land requires more on-the-ground investigation by operators. Kong does not intend to completely crush vehicles and operators under his feet. That said, simply brushing up against Kong can put you in a depressed state, so keeping a safe distance from him is an important key to surviving.
Remember: Monarch’s organizational mission is “Discovery and Defense in the Age of Monsters.” Our goal is to fight alongside these monsters and live in harmony with them, and through Operation Monarch mode, operators can find a way to use their abilities to aid in their own survival.
