One Piece has experienced one of its moments of greatest global fame thanks to the unexpected success of the adaptation produced by Netflixwhere, against all odds, he has achieved one of the best and most impressive versions of this franchise.
As would be obvious to expect, the community dedicated to Fan Art and Cosplay has gone all out to express its affection and obsession with Luffy and all his companions. All this while manga and anime maintain their infinite run in digital and audiovisual media.
At the time of writing this note, the One Piece anime is adapting the saga of the country of Wano (Wano Contry Saga) already reaching the 1,082 episodes and counting.
In fact, this part of the story had been highly anticipated by fans since it includes some moments of high emotion and extreme tension between the characters.
Sanji and Zoro, for example, share one of the most iconic and fun moments of this arc, when Sanji had to carry a very injured and bandaged Zoro.
From there a couple of little cosplay artists were inspired and ended up creating a tribute so good that it went viral thanks to the anime producers themselves.
The rivalry between Sanji and Zoro is one of the best aspects of Eiichiro Oda’s original manga series, but thanks to the inherent complexity of the plot, the two characters were kept relatively separate for quite some time.
Since while Luffy was looking for Sanji on Whole Cake Island, Zoro and some others were following their own path to converge at the climatic point of this arc. So this duo had their great reunion in this saga.
The two began fighting on Onigashima, at one point, Zoro had received injuries that seemed serious in the fight against Kaido, and had to be bandaged so that he could not move in order to heal properly.
This in itself was already somewhat comical and almost ridiculous, but it all came to a hilarious point when Sanji had to carry him to save him.
