Could it be that now we can access more places in the United States in GTA VI?
Grand Theft Auto V actor Shawn Fonteno has finally revealed what he would like to see from Grand Theft Auto 6. Earlier this year, Rockstar confirmed to its audience that it was working on the next Grand Theft Auto, but hasn’t shared much more about the project just yet. It’s been 8 years since the last GTA game was released, not counting the last GTA 5 remaster for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, and rumors about what Rockstar plans to do with the next entry have been spreading for a long time. time frame. While some of the rumors are a bit strange and most likely overly ambitious, it hasn’t stopped the hype train.
Recently in an interview with SAY CHEESE, Shawn Fonteno has commented on some things that he would like to see in GTA 6. He doesn’t just want Rockstar to bring him backsince he is the only protagonist who remains alive in all the endings of GTA 5, but rather he also wants other characters to come back that we have seen before. In fact, Fonteno even added that wants to be able to travel between different cities like Los Santos, Liberty City and Vice City to catch up with old characters and see what they’re up to. For their part, characters like Tommy Vercetti and CJ are probably pretty old by now, so it’s hard to imagine them getting their hands dirty, but they could still play a leadership role in some criminal operations.
From Vice City we could say that it has been one of the locations that will presumably appear in GTA 6, but like Fonteno, some hope for a more global scenario. Rockstar has always set its GTA games on islands, however now it seems that some players want more freedom in the next game. Sure, games like The Crew have featured open worlds that take place across pretty much the entire United States, but they lack the depth and interactivity of a Rockstar game. It’s easier to achieve when it’s just a driving game, but things get complicated when the player has to enter buildings, explore every corner, among other activities.
At the moment, we have to wait to see what scenarios Rockstar surprises us with.
