Despite the years, Star wars remains an incredibly powerful brand on all fronts, whether in film, video games or merchandise and it is something that, according to the latest leaks, THQ Nordic would take advantage of for the launch of classic games in the series on current platforms. Great news for all those users who grew up with the adventures of Star Wars or want to visit the origins of the series to see its evolution to the present day.
Specifically, they have leaked four classic Star Wars games published by THQ in the 1990s and 2000s. Star Wars Jedi Knight and its sequel, Jedi Knight 2, would return to stores under the Star Wars Jedi Knight Collection. They would be accompanied by Star Wars: Republic Commando along with Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, two other of the most beloved installments of the saga at least by the most veteran.
Looks like THQ Nordic will be publishing Star Wars Racer and Commando Combo + Star Wars Jedi Knight Collection for PS4 and Switch https://t.co/eBGDgEfYmK

Both packs are listed with the date of the next October 8, 2021 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, although, as Gematsu points out, these games already have a digital version on desktop and PC consoles, so it seems that some details that make sense of this relaunch still need to be known. It could be a launch of the games in Physical format, although it would not have much incentive if it is not remastered versions. If so, strange that they do not appear on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.
In any case, it seems that soon there will be news from THQ Nordic regarding these classic games of the Star Wars saga, it could be a matter of few weeks if it keeps its October release. Great news for fans of the George Luchas saga, who recently received a next-gen version of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
