A group of fans is working on a new remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 4 and they have revealed new images showing the incredible progress in the game. Recently, a video of the remake of the classic N64 title from The Legend of Zelda series has surfaced.
YouTuber CryZENx started working on this remake of Ocarina of Time several years ago and has been revealing new updates as it is finished. This recent update comes just a few months after another Ocarina of Time version update was released on Unreal Engine in December 2021, which means that things are going from strength to strength, although the release date has not yet been revealed.
CryZENx has published a video of almost 14 minutes in which it shows the advances in the remake of Ocarina of Time. The video shows old versions and updated versions. The new images show an updated version of the Kokiri Forest, where the original game begins, with a more polished look than the previous version.
This video also shows off new skins for enemies like Deku Baba and Skulltulas. The riding progress of this version of Ocarina of Time. This video also reveals the current look of the clouds, as well as the options menu and multiplayer mode.
Incredibly, this remake is not the only one being made, as another version of Ocarina of Time is being made in Unreal Engine 5 by RwanLink. The Unreal Engine is software used in many AAA games today, and its use to recreate this classic game has brought a new light to Ocarina of Time that not even the 3DS remake did at the time of its release.
