Marvel and Star Wars have emerged as the two great banners of Disney+ thanks to a multitude of series that have been delighting fans for some time, such as WandaVision or Loki on one side and The Mandalorian or The Book of Boba Fett on the other. We are now close to a new milestone in that regard. However, the video on demand platform has announced that Obi-Wan Kenobi delays its release two days, but there will be compensation for the fans. And it is that the series starring Ewan McGregor will be launched with double episode on its new release date, Friday, May 27, 2022.
This has been made known by McGregor himself in a video shared by the official Disney + accounts on social networks and in which he explains that they have decided to move the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi from Wednesday May 25 to Friday 27. There is not much difference and the additional wait will not be great. However, fans are delighted to be able to start viewing this new series set in the Star Wars universe and starring one of the most beloved characters in the George Lucas saga with a double session that, yes, will make us wait for a week for each new chapteras usual on Disney +.
What day each episode of Moon Knight premieres on Disney +
Obi-Wan Kenobi places us ten years later of the dramatic events of revenge of the sith, with Obi-Wan recovering from the betrayal of his apprentice and friend Anakin Skywalker. The series directed by Deborah Chow will be composed by six episodes, which means that we only have to wait a month after its premiere for it to be complete on Disney +. Remember that it will be May 27 when we can start enjoying this new galactic adventure.
