One wouldn’t expect two games as different as Elden Ring and Sonic The Hedgehog to get along, but one player brought SEGA’s Blue Hedgehog into the harsh world of Elden Ring. The game has only been out for a month, but it’s already considered one of the best-selling video games of the year, and FromSoftware has announced that it’s thinking of turning Elden Ring into a multimedia franchise to build on the game’s success.
Written with the help of legendary Game of Thrones screenwriter George RR Martin, Elden Ring puts players in the role of Tarnished, a fully customizable exile seeking to gather the lost shards of the Elden ring and become the new Lord of Elden. As you would expect from any video game that features an in-depth character creator, players have recreated various fictional characters to set them in the medieval world of the Elden Ring.
So a reddit user has published a video in which he appears competing in the multiplayer PVP mode of Elden Ring What sonic the hedgehog, or at least as a Tarnished looking like the Blue Hedgehog, with blue body paint and messy hair. As the classic Sonic Adventure 2 theme “Live And Learn” plays in the background, he attacks other players with a light-up spin that somewhat resembles Sonic’s signature attack.
At first sight, sonic the hedgehog and Elden Ring they are as different as night and day, as one is a children’s platformer starring a hedgehog and the other is a medieval RPG with extremely brutal and challenging combat.
However, both games feature rings as a highly desirable item for the player character, and it turns out that players can recreate Sonic’s turn in Elden Ring, even if the speedy hedgehog isn’t as pretty as it was in the original game.
