It is estimated that within the new digital normality, just over 62 percent of the population is immersed in the network.
By 2028, around 70 percent of companies are expected to have some form of remote work.
Just over 41 percent of companies have registered resignations derived from the refusal to offer remote work modalities.
Derived from the forced social distancing, aspects such as social networks, mental health, sustainability and home office, have been placed as part of the great trends; however, not all have been able to adapt to this new model, as shown by a viral publication that shows that one of the requirements to rent within Mexico City, where “do not make home office” drew attention and generated controversy.
According to what was pointed out by We are Socialwithin its section of DigitalTrends, currently just over 4.95 billion people are active online, which suggests that more than 62 percent of the population performs some type of activity digitally.
According to the study of “Post-pandemic labor adaptability in Mexico”, currently just over 41 percent of companies have recorded “unusual” resignations as their employees have started considering remote work options, so much so that according to Torre.co, This type of work today is used by just over 35 thousand 564 people worldwide, while 123 thousand more expect to apply for a completely remote position.
Similarly, the international development bank announced that today just over 24 percent of online vacancies offer some type of remote work modality, so it expects this modality to be integrated into just over 70 percent of positions by 2028 .
“Working remotely is such a powerful and transformative experience. Talent should not be wasted”, and companies have to continue innovating, adjusting their value system and implementing new strategies. Alexander Torrenegra, founder and CEO of torre.co

“No home office”, the requirement to rent that has generated controversy
According to what is indicated by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), Mexico is currently home to more than 128 million inhabitants, of which little more than 9 million 290 thousand people reside within the CDMX, This is due to the job opportunities it has, among other factors, which is why hundreds of people decide to leave their states or countries of origin to buy or rent in the city; however, this task is not always completely simple, as pointed out in networks.
@ruckysolis you can not do #homeoffice even if you pay your month of #rent in #cdmx ♬ original sound – Rucky Solis
As can be seen in the post, one of the requirements to be able to rent within the CDMX is not to do home office, reason that generated various criticisms in social networks, and evidenced various “bad practices” to which those who wish to rent have been exposed, evidencing a growing problem of what has been called as “absurd requirements” such as excessive charges and meaningless rules.

I had one that said that you could only get to sleep for $2,500 a month because during the day they used YOUR SPACE as an office. And on your days off you COULDN’T be there
