There are many times when one is surprised by a video game advertisement, whether for being a title from an IP that was thought to be abandoned or for coming to a console that was thought to be incompatible with the technology. In that sense, Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct left us quite surprisedbut the Japanese company decided to give great emphasis to the announcement of Nintendo Switch Sportsthis being a title that aims to bring back the Wii Sports saga, which is one of the best-selling titles in history.
Under this premise, Nintendo Switch Sports is a title that leaves aside the classic Miior at least the first version of these, to bring us new characters who will be our avatars in the new hybrid console title.
Also, it must be said that It has been confirmed that several of the classic sports will return, such as tennis, bowling and chambara, the latter being the equivalent of the fencing we saw in Wii Sports Resort. They will all do use of Joy-Con technology to perfectly emulate player movements.
New sports are coming to Nintendo Switch Sports
On the other hand, it has been announced that new sports will also be added, such as soccer, in which we can make use of the Ring Fit leg tape to make shots. Likewise, as an elective to tennis, Volleyball and Bádnitom have been added, so no expense will be spared when it comes to enjoying various disciplines.
Yes indeed, they will not be the only ones, since it has been confirmed that more sports will be added through updates, highlighting here a variant of football that will arrive in the summer, while golf will arrive in the fall. Therefore, it seems that it will be an upgradeable title over time.
On the other hand, far from just playing with people at home, Nintendo Switch Sports will make use of local mode and online mode in all sports. In this way, the title will arrive next April 29, 2022.
Finally, before you can see the trailer, know that from February 19 to 20 you will be able to play in the Online Play Test, this being a kind of beta in which you can enjoy bowling, chambaras and tennis. Of course, it is more than confirmed that in order to access this beta, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
