As if it were fate by his last name, Douglas Bowser is the president of Nintendo of America. He carries the villain of Super Mario Bros. in his name and, among so many tasks, from time to time he must fulfill commitments in Japan, the main city of the company.
Bowser recently was at the Kyoto headquarters, in the land of the rising sun, catching up with their bosses. To report on his arrival in Asia, shared a photo of the big N building in a post on Twitter.
“it’s good to be back”, wrote Doug Bowser in the tweet with the image of the nintnedo offices in Kyoto.
The guidelines of the president of Nintendo of America included his visit to the new osaka storeopen to the public at Japan’s Daimaru Umeda Building, following stores in New York and Tokyo.
According to a report published on the website of nintendo lifethe goal of the company’s stores is “not just to sell Nintendo-related products,” but to act as a point of contact for consumers to connect with Nintendo.
Phil Spencer responds to Bowser
Bowser shared the images of the new Nintendo store in Osaka, where you can see themed shirts, figures of characters such as Link and Mario, among others.
“nintendo osaka is open”, wrote Doug Bowser, a tweet to which Phil Spencer, the first in command at Xbox, replied: “Can’t wait to visit next time I’m in Osaka. Looks great”.

It seems that Spencer shows interest in learning about the new Nintendo store, but it is known that he has been in charge of building the presence of Microsoft consoles in Japan for several months.
During his visit to Kyoto, Doug Bowser also had time to visit the former Nintendo headquarters that was transformed into a hotel, the Marufukuro.
