This weekend the 94th edition of the Oscars was held and at the Vanity Fair party that served as an after party we saw hunter schaferknown for playing Jules Vaughn in the HBO series, euphoria. Hunter’s appearance dazzled Nintendo fans, because in a short time they were saying that she would look perfect as Princess Zelda in a live-action.
Although there has been talk of a possible live-action Legend of Zelda movie for many years, this has never been more than a rumor, but with Nintendo’s recent interest in bringing its franchises to the cinema, the possibility always exists. Meanwhile, fans agree that Hunter Schafer would be a good fit to play Princess Zelda.

“If Nintendo ever needs a Princess Zelda, she can do the job,” said one fan on Twitter, in a post that reached nearly 380,000 likes in less than a day. One of the comments edited Hunter’s ears to make her look like Hyliana, making her look even more like Princess Zelda.
Photos of Hunter Schafer at the Vanity Fair party have been circulating since March 27th and since then we’ve seen Nintendo fans saying it gives them Zelda vibes. Although fans often speak out against live-action adaptations, Hunter’s appearance seems to have changed their opinion.

Today Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 has been delayed until spring 2023, so it will be a while before we hear from Zelda and Link’s next adventure on Nintendo Switch.
