Through its digital platforms, Marvel Studios shared the new poster for the Ms Marvel series, where Iman Vellani, who will play Kamala Khan / Ms Marvel, accompanied by members of her closest circle, her family and friends.
Ms. Marvel is a new series featuring Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani-American girl growing up in Jersey City. A great student, an avid gamer, and a voracious fan-fiction writer, she has a special affinity for superheroes, in particular Captain Marvel.
But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and school, that is, until she gains superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with superpowers, right?
The episodes of the first season of Ms. Marvel are directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
With Iman Vellani as the protagonist, Ms. Marvel will be released on June 8, 2022 on the Disney Plus platform.
