Last Friday, October 13, the Michin aquarium was inaugurated in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, the largest not only in our country but in Latin America, with more than 300 marine species, among which sharks, manta rays and otters stand out.

The facility has huge fish tanks and tanks with seawater brought from Mexican beaches to house hundreds of marine species such as manta rays and sharks; seahorses and jellyfish; in addition to countless tropical fish, otters and even capybaras, lemurs and flamingos.
Likewise, the entrance to the aquarium includes access to the Michin Laboratory and endless children’s activities such as “trampoline beds” and “the nest”, where children can jump and climb; the Marine Ecombate, for those over 13 years old and the Gateadero, for the little ones.

Special prices for inauguration
Celebrating its opening, the venue offers a preferential price on tickets of $299 pesos for a limited time; since the normal rate, for children and adults, will be $349 pesos. It is unknown how long this special rate will last, so we suggest visiting as soon as possible to take advantage of it.
Michin Aquarium Hours and Location
According to the aquarium’s official website, visiting hours are Monday to Thursday, from 12:00 to 20:00; on Friday from 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Although the ticket office closes at 6:00 p.m. every day. You will also have to reserve a time to enter, as space is limited.
Also, at the moment it is only possible to purchase tickets at the venue’s box office and we recommend that you attend with comfortable clothing and footwear to fully enjoy the experience.
Finally, regarding its location, the Michin aquarium is located in Tepeyac Park, on Avenida Eduardo Molina 6730, Granjas Modernas neighborhood, Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office. But access is via San Juan de Aragón road 399, next to the main entrance of the shopping center.
