A new Halo Infinite Forge mode leak has revealed new footage about a new feature and more. The leak comes from Halo Infinite’s co-op flight files, with a first look at the DMR weapon, a new community tab, and Forge maps. In addition to the leaked files, new gameplay footage showing off the mesh nav system of Halo Infinite’s upcoming Forge mode has also been leaked.
For the uninitiated, the navigation mesh is an abstract data structure used in applications to help AI-driven agents find the optimal path through complex geometry. The inclusion of navigation meshes will allow user-created maps to be more compatible with Spartan bots on their Forge maps. You can also see the advances of the campaign Halo Infinite co-op featuring 343i.

The game’s campaign offers a semi-open world structure; hePlayers can freely explore areas of the environment, the Zeta Halo ringworld, which are divided from each other and initially unreachable. Forward Operating Bases, which can be cleared of adversaries and captured, are scattered throughout the area. Captured bases function as fast travel points, among other interesting activities that can be found all over the surface of Zeta Halo.

Completing these side quests earns the player Valor, which can be used to purchase new weapons and vehicles at Forward Operating Bases. Within the surface of the ring, there are additional zones that are more linear and stick to the style of old Halo missions.
