The Witcher is one of the most successful series produced by Netflix in recent years. Specifically, Netflix has reported that production “has been paused due to COVID and we will resume operation as soon as we can do so safely”. Neither the company nor any of the people involved in the production of the series has given more details about what has led them to have to completely stop production, although it is rumored that some of the main actors could have infected with the virus.
