Bridgerton It became one of the most watched and successful series on Netflix in 2021, as it left everyone wanting to know more about this incredible story between Daphne and Simon. To calm the anxiety of the fans, just over a month after its big premiere, Netflix decided to release the first trailer for the second season of the Show.
For this second installment, the production has been renewed and the protagonists will change, since this time they will focus entirely on the love life of Anthony, Viscount Bridgerton, played by Jonathan Bailey, who while getting Siena out of her broken heart, tries to find a “proper” wife.
In the first images of the trailer, the return of Lady Whistledown is shown, who moves the threads of the series through her diary. In addition, you can see Anthony, Daphne’s older brother, pretending to Kate Sharma, a young aristocrat with a stubborn and very intelligent character, who apparently seeks to distance the eldest of the Bridgertons from her younger sister.
Both Netflix and the production company Shondaland decided to take advantage of Valentine’s Day to organize a global event so that fans had the opportunity to share opinions with Julia Quinn (author of the books on which the series is based) and part of the cast of the second season, such as Nicola Coughlan, Simone Ashley, Charithra Chandran and Golda Rosheuvel.
During the meeting they talked about the success and great acceptance that the first season had, as well as what is to come in this second part for both Lady Whistledown and the rest of the characters.
For this installment, the production has chosen a series of new actors who promise to have interesting roles, and Netflix is confident that it will continue to be one of the most successful series for at least three more seasons.
The second part of the series will be available from next March 25 on the platform of streaming. For now, here’s a little taste of what you’ll see in this promising season:
