What’s new on Netflix is a short film written by an artificial intelligence, the duration is less than five minutes and the experience is almost unforgettable.
When speaking of artificial intelligence, the collective imagination flies to places that are too complex to be described, but the reality is that, many times, artificial intelligences are subjected to processes that border on the ridiculous.
The closest and most current example of all this is the new Netflix short film, “Mr. Puzzles Wants You To Be Less Alive ”. This is the title of a tape write by unta artificial intelligence that has been forced to consume 400,000 hours of movies.
The genre of all these films is horror and this is reflected in the title of the short film. But the interesting thing about all this is how absurd the tape is, in fact, it has such old-fashioned tints that it makes it an absurd spectacle.
The main plot we could say is a mix between the “Saw” movies with a touch of “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” and all this passed through a filter that combines a first-rate Japanese surrealism.
We worked with @KeatonPatti to make a bot watch over 400,000 hours of horror movies and then write its own horror movie. This is what it came up with. pic.twitter.com/cBLNmfhLvg

The antagonist of the film is a copy of the villain from “Saw”, although this time he wears a typical Japanese demon mask. In fact, he rides a tricycle, although it is quite disproportionate compared to Jigsaw.
Throughout the entire film what is seen is a succession of events without any meaning, but that end up having an interesting connecting thread. Of course, the short plays to introduce and eliminate elements constantly.
If you have been curious to see it, it is available on the YouTube channel Netflix is a joke. The duration is four minutes and twenty-two seconds, so you can see it without problem at any time.
It is interesting that Netflix is encouraged to create something like this, we highly recommend you take a look. The experience is so ridiculous that having a good time is guaranteed one hundred percent.
