According to what has been reported in different media, Netflix’s idea for 2023 is to increase the catalog of its video game platform, announcing that it would add 50 new titles to which it has added so far.
Towards the end of March, the inclusion of three new games that will reach the Netflix Games catalog was announced, the limes are: This Is a True Story, Shatter Remastered and one that will take a little longer to arrive, Into the Dead 2: Unleashed.
Now, in a context in which, as a result of its recent problems, Netflix is beginning to see the possibility of launching a free subscription plan viable, albeit with advertisements, the video game platform is also one of the big bets to face to the immediate future.
This was announced when announcing the acquisition of the study Boss Fight Entertainmentbeing this the third video game studio that the platform buys after Night School and more recently NextGames.
Through a statement shared by Boss Fight, Netflix’s vice president of game studios, Amir Rahimi, explained that “This studio’s extensive experience creating hit games across all genres will help accelerate our ability to provide Netflix members with great games wherever they want to play them.”.
So far, it is not known what new titles will come to Netflix Game; however, information published in The Washington Post suggests that video games from all categories could be added, seeking to expand its catalog as much as possible in order to reach a significant number of users.
