Whoever buys this chocolate bar will not care about the sugar or the calories, but it should be known to be informed, especially in case of imbalances with blood glucose levels, high cholesterol, obesity, a strict diet for medical reasons, etc. .
This tablet of Nestlé Jungle white chocolate with biscuit It looks like it’s a bestseller, just like the Jungly chocolate was on its dial, which sold out throughout Spain, and they even put a limit on the number of tablets per person.
50 gr of sugar for every 100 gr of Jungle white
This chocolate bar came back to life after its production was abandoned in 2015. In 2021 it returned, causing a furor among young and not so young people who were carried away by that wave of emotion when they saw that such a special chocolate was back on the shelves. Criticisms were not long in coming, since many assured that it did not taste the same, and that is that it is nothing more than a bar of milk chocolate, a lot of fat, a lot of sugar and crunchy pieces of biscuit inside.
Now comes the white chocolate version that does not differ from the original either, that is, lots of palm fat, a lot of milk chocolate sugar and other ingredients that are not recommended. A few paragraphs below we will leave the complete list of ingredients and also the allergens.
We do not recommend the consumption of this tablet (125 grams), because for every 100 grams of Jungly white chocolate, half is pure refined sugar, as we see in its values (per 100 grams):
- Energetic value: 540 kilocalories.
- Fats: 30.8 grams.
- Carbohydrates: 57.5 grams.
- Fiber: 0.5 grams.
- Proteins: 8 grams.
- Salt: 0.30 grams.
Ingredients and allergens
Of course, Nestlé wants us all to end up with obesity or prediabetes, once we have seen the amounts of sugar per 100 grams of that chocolate, when the tablet itself only weighs 125 grams. The ingredients are not that they are better either, in fact, from the ingredients, the values come out, and they have not had any in terms of the main allergen groups that exist in Spain, so many will not be able to try even a piece of this new tablet.
The ingredients of Jungly white with biscuit are: Sugar, milk powder, cocoa butter¹, biscuit (13%), [harina de trigo, grasa de palma, azúcar, jarabe de glucosa, gasificantes (carbonatos de sodio y de amonio), sal, aroma], skimmed milk powder, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), natural vanilla flavour. The allergens that we face if we consume this viral tablet are: milk and cereals with gluten. Therefore, you have to read the labels carefully before buying. In fact, in this tablet, there could be cross-contamination with nuts, so that allergen is also added.
