Gaiman who co-created The Sandman, a celebrated series of DC Comicsas part of the Netflix streaming adaptation, where he says there were several attempts to bring The Sandman as a film, some of which Gaiman himself rejected, feeling that a film could not do the 75-issue comic book series justice.
