Throughout history many series transcend to a plane in which they gather a retinue of fans, this has happened with animations like The ninja turtles, Chip and Dale, He-Man and The Masters of the Universe and more. For its part, on a more contemporary side is Avatar: The Last Airbendersaga that apparently has not finished its productions.
Paramount Animation Y Nickelodeon Animation confirmed that there are three animated films in production during a special presentation at the International Animated Film Festival of Annecy. Where they also revealed that LaurenMontgomery, who previously worked with aang Y korrawill direct the first tape to have the origins of the series impregnated.
For their part, some veterans return to help. Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartinowho co-created the series already known within that universe, team up again as producers together with Eric Colemanwho served as executive producer and production manager for the series broadcast on the channel Nickelodeon.
Films are being developed under the brand Avatar Studioswhich was launched last year with the aim of bringing series and more original creations set in the world of Avatar. They will have their launch on the platform Paramount+as well as in cinemas and Nickelodeon. Nothing has been confirmed regarding release dates.
In addition, it was previously discussed that a series is being planned to continue the story of aangbeing a bridge that takes fans to events prior to the Legend of korra. For now, not much information about its production has been confirmed.
