The celebration for Mother’s Day is an event that thousands of people take advantage of to go out to eat with their family, restaurants and entertainment venues, which fill up due to the high influx of people in the streets, but the celebrations do not always end. good.
One of the favorite places for the inhabitants of the capital is ‘La Casa de Toño’ which is a Mexican company that emerged in 1978 and that began with a quesadillas and Mexican appetizers stand in the Clavería neighborhood of CDMX.
Until 2022, the restaurant had 37 branches in the Metropolitan Area, some are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Around 50,000 diners per month pass through each branch, a figure that continues to rise, since according to data from Persat (the company that sells advertising within the facilities of each of its headquarters) 10 branches are opened per year new, on average.
It is not the first time that the gastronomic brand has become a trend on TikTok, because in December of last year, on the occasion of the Bad Bunny concert in Mexico, a group of fans went to a branch of ‘Tono’s House‘ and, among the diners who were at that moment, they decided to do the “after”.
Mother’s Day celebration ends badly
TikTok user @adry.tay shared the moment in which a fight broke out in one of the branches of ‘La Casa de Toño’, but the altercation did not end there, in another video several people can be seen trying to be controlled by uniformed people; one of them does his best not to drop the merchandise that he brings in his hands, who seconds later manages to leave the establishment safe and sound.
To the second part of the conflict was added a narration of the ‘Boxing Czar’, adding a touch of humor to such an unfortunate situation. Internet users’ comments were ironic about the “good atmosphere” that occurs at family meals at ‘La Casa de Toño’. So far it is unknown what was the reason for the conflict in the restaurant.

On the other hand, despite the various controversies in which the restaurant chain has been involved, its success is indisputable, just look at the long lines that come to concentrate waiting for a table to be able to consume a plate of pozole.
The formula to stay in the taste of diners could be based on the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) which is a result of have a well-known product (pozole, quesadillas) and define how it will be served (very fast and always the same). According to the Growth Institute, one of the keys is that it has kept the same label for 32 years and although it may seem complicated, the brand has listened to its customers and has managed to understand their tastes, which is why it decided to keep its menu, just in case. they added desserts and offered varieties in the ingredients of the pozoles, but nothing more.
