During the Tokyo Game Show 2021, Capcom presented the Monster Hunter Rise trailer for PC with all the details after the port: resolution, controls, and everything we expect from it. Everything except features as important as the cross game and cross save with the Nintendo Switch version, because some of us are not enthusiastic about the idea of starting from scratch already having the best builds of the game. But it seems that it will have to be that way.
On Twitter, the official Monster Hunter account shares a post which says “we heard your requests for cross-save and cross-play in Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak [la expansión que nos llevará a luchar contra el dragón anciano Malzeno]”something that we took for granted because it had been explored in an official survey.
“But unfortunately, we found that we cannot implement these features this time. As always, we appreciate your continued support and feedback. “Needless to say, the opinions of fans in the comment box express widespread disgust.
Monster Hunter Rise will be available via Steam next 12th of JanuaryAlthough you don’t have to wait that long to try it out: this week, there will be a demo for download on the Valve platform. As a reminder, this summer the Sunbreak expansion will arrive in parallel to its premiere on Nintendo Switch.
