Minecraft expands more every day.
Minecraft is one of the most important video games in the video game industry, so much so that remains to this day the best-selling title of all time, beating industry giants. For this reason, and to keep its users, Mojang has always wanted to have a constant stream of updates, especially since Microsoft bought the company. Since then, a lot of updates have been released that add features that we couldn’t live without today, and now we know that another one of this type will be released.
In this case the addition will not be an object, animal or weapon, but we are talking about a tool for the user, which is known as “place feature“. This tool allows the user to place within their worlds elements that are generated automatically when creating the worlds. For example, we can place trees, grass and other elements of this type, which could already be added but had to be done manually.
The users will be able to access this feature using the classic Minecraft command bar. To give you an idea, it will be done in a similar way to when using the commands to make enemies or objects appear in our world. To be able to introduce these elements in our world we will need 2 things: the id of the element to create and the coordinates of the place where you want to place it (although this last characteristic can be replaced by the position of a player, for example).
This tool will allow the most creative users to create worlds much more alive than they could before it was available, or simply to significantly lighten the work of those who are dedicated to creating thematic maps.
this update is now available for Minecraft Java users, via snapshot 22W03A, but other users will have to wait a little longer to enjoy this feature. It is expected that this feature will be added to all Minecraft users in the coming weeks, because it first has to be fully tested.
