We have already indicated to you on more than one occasion how Microsoft Teams has become a standard and this only goes further. The Redmond giant continues to add new companies that use Teams as their communication tool, but there are times that certain messages are out of place. Now, Microsoft will allow the supervisors of Chats in the different companies to delete messages.
There are many user profiles in Teams, it is used in companies, but also in education, personal and even government use. Its use and availability has become critical, especially for Microsoft 365 customers. Microsoft has realized its importance, especially with the ongoing pandemic. It has started integrating it into Windows 11 at the operating system level as well.
Moderators come to Microsoft Teams
As with most of its software that is used by millions of people around the world, Microsoft regularly updates Teams with new features and enhancements. Now, it appears that the company is working on a new capability that will allow supervisors to chat delete messages in Teams.
It remains to be seen how this implementation will take place, but it can be assumed that there will be at least some indication that a supervisor deleted a message. This could ensure that context is not lost and that there is less chance of miscommunication. We are likely to find out more when the company implements this capacity at the end of this month or the beginning of next October.
It’s interesting the presence of content moderators. Many times in a chat a response can be misinterpreted and put in the worst context. The objective of Teams is to join forces not to break with our team. This is a very important feature that should improve work within Microsoft Teams.
