Microsoft has announced a date that many look forward to year after year: the surface event in which new equipment is presented. On this occasion, the event will take place earlier than usual, specifically on September 22. The reason? Show devices before the official release of Windows 11 begins on October 5.
New Surface to start the next generation of Windows
This Surface event will be loaded with very interesting news. For starters, we’re pretty much guaranteed to see the Surface Duo 2, Microsoft’s continuation of dual-screen phones. This version will improve the most controversial aspects of the first iteration with a triple camera, higher refresh rate screens, a processor Snapdragon 888 (5G) and 8GB of RAM. The operating system will be Android 11 and the device will have about smaller frames.

When it comes to Windows 11, we look forward to the arrival of the Surface Go 3, the smallest and cheapest of the tablets of this brand. Everything indicates that it will have a processor Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y in its standard version and a Intel Core i3-10100Y on the LTE model.
The Surface Pro 8 will be another of the great protagonists and it seems clear that it will arrive with 11th generation chips, screens with a higher refresh rate and a updated design, more similar to the Surface Pro X. Precisely regarding the latter, it is rumored that a new version of it could arrive with a better processor and Wi-Fi-only models for the first time.
Finally, according to Zac bowden, it looks like Microsoft will experiment with a new range which will consist of a convertible with a non-removable design, probably similar to a patent that was recently leaked and whose drawing we attach below. It is possible that it will not be presented as a new range but as the Surface Book 4 but for now we can only speculate.
